China Metro-Rural Holdings Limited (“the Company”) incorporated under the laws of the British Virgin Islands with DCSX symbol CMRH informed the exchange on May 4th, 2021 of the following notice: CMRH Appointment of Director and Change Executive Functions

“China Metro-Rural Holdings Limited (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Cheng Ka Wing (“Ms. Cheng”) as Executive Director and Vice President of the Company with effect from May 4, 2021. Ms. Cheng, aged 28, graduated from the University of Warwick with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. She also obtained a Master of Science degree in Programme and Project Management from the University of Warwick. She has extensive investment experience through managing her family’s investment vehicles since 2017.  Ms. Cheng is the daughter of Mr. Cheng Chung Hing, one of the major shareholders of the Company.

In addition, the Company’s Executive Director, Mr. Lin Xianfu (“Mr. Lin”), has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, replacing Mr. Sio Kam Seng (“Mr. Sio”) with effect from May 4, 2021. Mr. Sio will remain as the Chairman of the Company. Ms. Cheng will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the Company, assisting Mr. Lin in his new role as the Chief Executive Officer.

In addition to the above new appointment, Mr. Wong Gee Hang, Henry, and Mr. Lai Chau Ming, Matthew have resigned as directors of the Company with immediate effect.  There is no disagreement between them and the Board of Directors.  The Company would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their years of services.”
