FIHAV (Feria International de la Habana), has been running continuously since 1983. It is one of the most important annual international multi-sector trades fair and investment trade show, where countries around the world send their representatives both from the public and private sector to participate. At first glance, the fair is very impressive because of its magnitude, 25,000 m2 of net exhibition area and 25 exhibition pavilions. Participating companies are located by countries. It is one of the most representative fairs in Latin America and the Caribbean.

FIHAV has wide participation of Cuban and foreign visitors, foreign official delegations, chambers of commerce and organizations promoting trade and investment from various parts of the world.

For five days, exhibitors, businessmen, and technicians from all sectors of the Cuban economy converge at the headquarters of this Fair and a wide and varied international trade show, creating a climate conducive to the development of business meetings, business rounds, seminars, and conferences, among other activities.

DCSX participated this November 2019 on the 37th Edition of the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV), as part of the Commercial Mission organized by the Ministry of Economic Development, led by Minister Giselle McWilliam and her team. And this FIHAV was extra special because is Havana’s 500th anniversary.

This time DCSX was represented by our Commercial Officer Diana Intriago Cordova. This is the third time we participate on the Fair as part of the Curaçao delegation within the Holland Pavilion, and the fourth time we travel to Havana, to strengthen the business relations with key Cuban government representatives that wish to obtain financing thru DCSX.
