On April 14 DCSX CEO Mr. René Römer has been invited to deliver a presentation to the Antilliaanse Juristen Vereniging (AJV) . The AJV is the Association of Law Graduates in Curaçao and the event will take place at the Amidos Building, Pareraweg 45, Willemstad, Curaçao. The presentation will concentrate on the question/issue of why Curaçao needs its own exchange; and how should it develop itself and by whom and for who?
Is the DCSX merely an affordable exchange for local a/o international investment funds, startups and SME’s? Or are there other situations (both locally and internationally) where the listing on an exchange facilitates certain transactions in more ways than only the attracting of new capital a/o creating subsequent liquidity.
“We are very happy with this unique chance to make the opportunities that an affordable exchange brings to the table known to such a distinguished group as the AJV. Lawyers (with a whole array of specialties), tax layers, Government advisors, Legal Advisors at a whole lot of different type of service companies, but also Judges and prosecutors, can become members of the AJV. This fact alone makes it very interesting for the DCSX to get a chance to explain in some more detail how it functions and what it can mean for the legal professionals active in the area of local and international finance and related areas”.
