While being in Buenos Aires for the Litwak Partners client event on July 10 (held at the Latin American Art Museum Malba), DCSX CEO Mr. René Römer took the opportunity to visit the Buenos Aires securities exchange Bolsas Y Mercados (BYMA) and the Cámara Argentina de Agentes de Negociación (Cámara de Agentes).

At BYMA we exchanged ideas with Messrs. Ernesto Allaria (Presidente), Jorge de Carli (Gerente General) and Martín Paladino (Gerente Liquidaciones) of where we could possibly work together in certain capital markets segments. We also discussed possibilities for sharing of depository services.

At the Cámara de Agentes the President Mr. Federico Spraggon Hernádez and his colleague Mrs. María Figueroa gave a very interesting oversight of the development of the capital markets in Argentina and about the Cámara in particular, which was in its original form set up already in 1878 already and has over 150 “members/broker”. members.
