On Friday, January 13, 2017, the Dutch Caribbean Securities Exchange held a 2017 New Year’s social event at the local venue St. Tropez. DCSX relations and professionals active in the local world of finance were present, as was the Minister of Economic Development His Excellency Mr. Eugene Rhuggenaath.

Mr. René Römer, CEO of the DCSX in his short welcome reiterated the importance of a well functioning exchange for the small yet open economy of Curaçao. “The focus is now on together executing our mission and vision: creating prosperity by connecting investment opportunities to investors and doing so by being a preferred and innovative financial center for international and local listings of equity, debt, and fund securities, partnering with our members in creating a transparent platform for issuers and investors to meet”.
