STEP, The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, is a unique professional body providing members with a local, national and international learning and business network focusing on the responsible stewardship of assets today and across the generations. STEP provides education, training, representation, and networking for its members.
STEP has over 20,000 members across 95 jurisdictions from a broad range of professional backgrounds, including lawyers, accountants, trust specialists and other practitioners in this area. Curaçao has its own chapter within the STEP that organizes lectures and seminars on the island. Last week, on October 17 & 18, the STEP LatAM, representing the Latin American region, hosted its annual conference in Sao Paolo, Brazil. This event offered businesses the opportunity to showcase services and obtain valuable connections, as well as gain more knowledge with valuable presentations and discussions.
The Curaçao International Financial Center (“CIFC”) was one of the main sponsors of the event along with a few local co-sponsors. The Dutch Caribbean Securities Exchange (“DCSX”) was one of these co-sponsors supporting the CIFC’s mission to promote local financial solutions to the world. We thank CIFC for giving us the opportunity to participate and support this event.
